Kabbalah sa Mga Awit 119:71: Sha'arei Kedusha

Sha'arei Kedusha

In contrast, a person who suffices with what is necessary for him is called a righteous Tzaddik, as scripture states,479Proverbs 13:25 “A righteous person eats to satisfy his soul.” Similarly, King David said,480Psalms 119:71 “It is good for me that I was afflicted, so that I might learn Your statutes.” We likewise find that our forefather Yaakov only requested the following,481Genesis 28:20 “Give me bread to eat and clothes to wear.” It is likewise written,482Genesis 49:14 “Yissachar is a strong-boned donkey… he bent his shoulder to bear.”
